Community Development and Preservation Corporation is seeking a volunteer consultant gardener to assist an affordable housing community set up its 20′ x 20′ garden at 1233 Valley Avenue SE near Congress Heights Metro. Eight residents and a local crew of youths are eager and willing to get started right away but need direction. They have topsoil, seeds and tools and could really use your help!!!
