Join the Capital Area Food Bank on October 17, 2012 for their 5th annual Empty Bowls event in Dupont Circle.  This event brings the community together through artwork, a bowl of soup and the desire to help those struggling with hunger.

For just $25, guests receive a beautifully hand-crafted bowl created by local artists and bottomless soup and bread lunch. The food has been generously donated by your favorite local restaurants, including Bus Boys and Poets, Corner Bakery, Teaism and Panera Bread. All proceeds will go to the Capital Area Food Bank and help nourish residents struggling with hunger in the Washington metro area.

If you work in the area, stop by on your lunch break for a meal that will make a difference!
