It is hard to think about spring with snow still melting, but please consider purchasing some heirloom vegetable or flower seeds to benefit the Watkins Montessori program (Watkins is a DC public school located in Capitol Hill at 12th and D SE).  It is a great deal – $2.50 per packet, with a generous amount of seeds in each packet – and all profits go directly to the Watkins Montessori program.  Our seeds are from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds and are usually only available online.  The shipment just arrived the other night, so early buyers have first pick of the seeds!
