Rooting DC 2010

The 3rd Annual Rooting DC Urban Gardening Forum was held on Saturday February 20, 2010 at the Historical Society of Washington‘s Carnegie Library. 450 gardeners, farmers, cooks, and food justice advocates packed the building for 25 inspiring, informative, important sessions.

We provided free lunch and childcare, raffled off fabulous prizes, and had space for 15 organizations and local government agencies from across the city to spread their words. And here’s the best part: it was all totally free for all participants.
